Summary:A commitment-afraid woman (Cameron Diaz) meets the perfect guy (Thomas Jane), but doesn't act on the opportunity to get together. Now, her two best friends (Christina Applegate, Selma Blair) come to her aid to persuade her to pursue the love interest.

Review:

Tim: This is a ridiculous, gross, and vulgar movie. Those characteristics don't necessarily mean a bad movie, but mix in unfunny with them... and you get the recipe for disaster.

Diaz and Applegate have the two biggest roles and are equally annoying and unfunny. Blair, as the third friend in the trio does her usual reserved self and is decent, but a few of the scenes in which she partakes have to signal a new low for her (even lower than her kiss with Sarah Michelle Gellar in Cruel Intentions). The best actor in the film is Thomas Jane, who plays his role excellently. I may have turned the movie off had it not been for him.

It is kind of ironic that this movie isn't funny at all, but throughout the movie, Diaz, Applegate, and Blair seem to have had a ton of fun making the film. That's great for them, however, we aren't having any fun watching them. The "best" scene in the movie (and I use that term loosely) is the movie montague scene in the dressing room. Other than that, the film is void of any decent semblance of good filmmaking.

The worst part of this movie is that the three main characters are not necessarily good people, or even people you'd want to know. The scary thing is that there are actually people like the three main characters out there. I for one hope I never encounter one... or this movie again.
