Review:

Tim: Any film with stars as big as Eastwood, Jones, Sutherland, and Garner cannot be all that bad. Especially with Eastwood behind the camera as well as in front of, this movie was destined to be good.

Space Cowboys blends excellent acting, witty humor, and exciting scenes to make for a very fun ride. The plot may have several holes in it and be a bit unbelievable, but to the viewer, this won’t make much of a difference. This movie is downright a fun, enjoyable ride. It is amazing to see four older but excellent actors sharing the same screen. Eastwood gives the best performance out of the bunch, but that takes nothing away from the incredible jobs Jones, Sutherland, and Garner do.

I recommend this film if you are a space-film fan, or if you enjoy the work of any of the stars of this film. You really cannot go wrong with this film- you will have a blast watching it.

Most movies that I rate highly I have a good idea going into them that I am going to like it. With Space Cowboys, this was not the case. I was truthfully not sure what to make of it. I figured it would be halfway decent just because of the acting ability of the four main actors. I have to say, even I was impressed and pleasantly surprised at this film. It is a complete film, satisfying all your movie cravings- not leaving you disappointed at all. I really do recommend this film.
